Partisanship

It's just mind blowing how much of a total mess the political party system is in this country. The fact that it LITERALLY is polarized on reasoning completely, meaning that the shit I get about "Reagan and Bush caused the debt" from democrats is exactly the opposite of the "Obama quintupled the deficit" from republicans is by itself catastrophically damaging...and none of them get it. They stare at me blankly when I tell them that I'm getting mixed signals and that I can't decipher what happens because everything along the road is biased somewhere. They literally just expect you to pick a side and take it because that's what everybody has done for so long. Holy god damn mother of Jesus, Mary, Buddha, Krishna, Allah, Flying Spaghetti Monster and whatever other fake deities there may be out there, PLEASE do not ever let me get sucked into this!
